Went to the log boom after natetreats post. Lots of carp spawning near the bushes. My friend was able to hook up on one. didnt put up a fight. Released it. Dunno about eating it. I won't. But hey its corn fed :)
I was also playing around with my bass gear. Threw my xrap out there. a lunker came up by the docks and looked at it and swam away. all in all, nice day of fishing

Darn it, I went out during the day yesterday and had no luck. Didn't even see any carp spawning...how early were you there?

haven't fished for carp since I was in the millitary in 1971.My favorite bait was .00 buckshot from a 12 guage.
