My wife and I went to our favorite "dock lake", Silver, arriving mid-day Wednesday, fishing Wednesday evening, all Thursday except for a four hour rain out in the midday, and Friday morning.

We fished of the dock, worms under sliding floats (not a nibble on the powerbait). Caught a 10" trout Wed pm, another Thu am, then when we went out Thursday afternoon I guess we finally found the right depth on the floats, as we caught two 11", two 12+" and even a couple of cats. I threw back a 9" trout and one smaller catfish. Some guys at the end of the dock tossing jigs in the lily pads packed out 20 crappie in a few hours.

Came home with 6 trout and the 2 catfish, put the trout in the smoker, gave the cats to a neighbor. For us casual fishers it was a great time. We always stay in Cabin 1, and our little dog plays with Bill & Amy's pup.
