Great day on Cottage Lake, took the toon out for a day of fishing. Got there around 12:30, setup and launched my pontoon at around 1:00, went to the south end of the lake and tried my luck for some crappie or bass in the weeds there, no luck. Headed over to the north side, just east of the docks, and caught my limit of rainbows pretty quick.

I was getting doubles on my pontoon, which was just ridiculous! I was fishing bobber with worm trying to nab some perch or bluegill, and fishing bottom with powerbait to get the trout out in the deep part of the lake. But no spiny rays, just trout, and they were NOT picky. Nailed my biggest one, which wasn't a stocker trout, had beautiful color, fins totally in tact, and was a FIGHTER, in less than 10 feet of water right by some lily pads on the bobber and worm.
