Spent the day on Lake Tapps. Caught 5 SMB, the largest was just over 12" (photo) in about 12 foot depth. Had other hits but failed to get a hook set. Used a green tube and a green senko to get results. Also caught my first ever Tiger Muskie. Was just 14" but he swam right up to the boat following the senko, so I stopped the retrieve, jiggled the worm in front of his nose, and he decided to bite. Would have taken a photo of my first tiger, but judging by his constant flopping in the net, he let me know he wanted to get back into the water.

Great hook up on that fish. It's not going anywhere, lol.

That fish was caught on 50# braid with a 3 foot Seaguar 15# floro leader, so the set was ideal on the caster. Most missed hookups were when I was using 12# floro only on my spinning reel. That weed guard had to be tweaked a bit to make it not too stiff and still function.
