Didn’t have time to take my kayak this weekend out on Sammamish, so wanted to squeek in a few casts in the 15min I had before work this morning.

Glad I made the effort, because I hooked into this 4lb 10 ounce smallie in about 20' of water on the hula grub. This is now my 2nd SMB into the 4’s. Have my sights set on the 5’s now. :)

No better way to start the morning than a cup of coffee and a solid catch.

That's a Bully Smallmouth. Great color, would bet that one gave you a neat battle. High Five for that one.
