I fished Warden, Soda, Potholes and Corral lakes for two days. The fishing was best in Warden and Corral Lakes for me.

The targeted species were trout which didn't seem to be a problem. I had a few bass bycatches and also still fished for some catfish and did manage a 10lb carp which my dog was interested in. The sunshine was great.

What I used was my 12 foot sea kayak and for trout trailed a Krokodile spoon or Blue Fox gold colored spinner tipped with worm most of the time. I fished different times of the day.

This area of the state always treats me well.
