I have been fishing my whole life. I live 5 minutes from Lake Stevens.I have a boat with down riggers. But I cannot catch a kokanee in Lake Stevens! I saw fish in the fish finder at about 35 feet started fish in there. As soon as I got my rig down fish started showing up at about 90 feet. it seems like everywhere my bait was the fish were somewhere else. There were a few other boat on a lake but it didn't look like anyone was catching anything to me. I still had a good time and I will be back.

have you checked your voltage on your downrigger cables?

i also live 5 min. from lk stevens, took a few years to be productive for myself, soooooo many variables, this web site is full of good info plus his tackle is very good [fish with gary tackle company] hope this helps, see you on the lake 17.5 1980 glasply
