Okay, so this report is for yesterday and today...

Thursday: Got out to the dock at about 4:30 PM. Started out pretty slow, didn't get the first fish until about half hour after I started fishing, but my grandpa and I ended up having 3 fish on at once when the fish started biting. I hooked one, and had another one on my other rod(I recently got a two rod endorsement and was using two rods for the first time), once I had the first fish on the dock, started fighting the other one, when my grandpa hooks a fish. So ended up having the first three fish to the dock all at the same time. A first for me.
After that, it slowed every once and a while. Hooked a fish or 2 every 15 minutes. Ended up landing 10 between my grandpa and I. Most fish were very small, and I only kept 2 decent fish out of my 5. My grandpa released all of his fish. All in all Thursday was a pretty slow day, with no big fish. It also took 3 and a half hours to get limits. Which is slow for Lake Leland. All fish were caught on the same set-up of floats and worms.

Today was a little better. Got to the dock at about Noon. It started off very slow, only hooking 2 very small fish in the first 2 hours. But it picked up quickly. Once the fish started biting, it was constant for about an hour. Hooked about 10 fish in a half hour. Most fish spit the hook though. Lost 2 good sized fish, before finally landing 2 fish about 12 inches each.
Then it dropped off for another half hour before picking up again. Landed a nice 14 inch fish, and another about 11 inches. Lost a few more, including another one that was about 14 inches. My grandpa landed one(Which he released) and lost a few larger fish.
Slowed again for another half hour, until my grandpa landed 4 small fish, which he released. I lost a few, and right before we were about to leave, my float plunges straight down. I knew it was a big fish right away, as it jumped 5 ft in the air before I could get to the rod. Fought it for a good 5 minutes before getting it to the net. Ended up being 16 inches(One of the fish I'm holding up). A good way to end the day. Not a bad day, but it seems to be slowing down a little. All fish were caught on the same set-up, weighted floats and worms. Though I set my float to about 4 and a half ft, which seemed to have worked better and caught larger fish.
