Went out this morning mainly to test out the new set up on the kayak. Was given an old Sears and Roebucks trolling motor from the FIL so put together a way to attach it to the kayak. Went out to give it a try and it worked pretty well once I got the hang of it. I thought maybe it would only go in circles as I wasn't able to attach it to the stern but it worked fine.. Caught a couple fish too! Both caught on a spoon. One maybe 14 inches and the other maybe 10. Had a couple other hits too but didn't get them to the boat.
