Today, I was out fished by my husband & skunked!! Yes, it finally happened. That's ok, I can't beat him all the time LOL.
He caught a 22"er but I caught NADA!! We took pictures & then released it. I gave up my spot on the boat to Bennett (after hearing about our luck last time, was game to drive all the way up there & give it a try). I gave up after a few casts because fishing offshore bites due to the water being too shallow.
Bennett caught a good bunch but that's his story to tell. And oh what a story it is. Ron caught a couple more but I had the camera so we couldn't get photos, & he released them.
Too bad the lake closes on the 28th!! But I will be making a solo trip on Monday to get one last trip in. Gee, too bad Ron has to work!! J/K
