We fished three of the chain lakes yesterday and had moderate success on pike. We finished the day with 4 pike each and one small LMB. The fish were taking husky jerks and were in 4 th 8 feet of water. Water clarity in the chains is still hit and miss around each lake as runoff and windy conditions are still stirring things up a little. Most of our fish were on the smaller side with the biggest being a 28" 5 1/2 pounder. Weed beds are showing to be about a foot tall in most areas and a couple more weeks should have them popping on the surface.
