The wife and I hit the water at 6;45 AM, went 3 hrs with no hits, threw everything we had at them, than one hit, nice koke, but broke the leader ( note to self, do not use 6lb leader from last year again) that was it for the day. got off at 3;00PM and headed to the R V park for the night. Friday A M hit the water at 6;15 thought a little earlier might be the trick.......nope........however did get one at 9;15 am on orange hochie behind silver dodger. Nothing again till 2;00 pm off the blue roof condos at 75 ft deep on orange hochei 8 in behind silver dodger than 3 in 20 minutes that was it, these were great fish all in the 18 to 20 inch and nice and fat . Was getting set up to go home when the phone rang and it was my fishing buddy reminding me that I was to be at Sun Lakes to help the Puget Sound Anglers take a group of boy scouts fishing on opening day, (they do this every year good job guys). So loaded up and went over there, took 4 scouts out Sat morning VERY WINDY, ended up with 4 nice fish, than went to their camp and they fed us lunch, I think there were 5 boat of scouts, fun time, and worth the trip.
