A little windy with a few drops of rain falling but not a bad time. I went south on the lake and trolled with spinning bait. i was out there for over 2 hours before i got this big one on the line. I didnt weigh or measure either one but atleast a few lbs. Not sure what he cut himself on but quite the gash on his side. Shortly after i picked up another one about the same size. They both gave a good fight and the first one is gonna make a good meal. Tight lines my friends.

nice fish! I would say eagle or osprey as both species enjoy the spoils of American lake and you can see them often when fishing there.

yeah there was another scar on his other side. i see them hunting out there on the lake every time im out there. I didnt really think about eagles and that would make sense where it is at. I went out yesterday around 5 and picked up acouple more nice bows back in the cove. its been pretty good fishing overall.
