Well, we started Friday morning by fishing Mineral Lake. The bite wasn't so good, so we decided to pack up and head to Riffe Lake. We arrived at Riffe, fished a little for bass and got some hits, but no real luck. We then decided to fish the fishing bridge at the Kosmos Flats side of the lake. On my second cast, I hooked into what I thought was a rainbow, but I soon found out that it was a Kokanee Salmon, about 15 inches in length. After that, we had great success and my group of three ended up catching 8 fish, all Kokanee. If you are in the area and would like some fresh salmon, there isn't a better spot and more fun spot to try then Riffe Lake. I Recommend this area for everyone.
