The Kokanee proved to be stubborn for me so we moved up to the Yacht Club and pounded away in 240 to 310 feet of water to catch some Mackinaw.

The Kokanee that we caught were on orange mini cha cha squidders baited with firecorn in Yellow. The squidders were tied on a 16" leader behind a Double D Dodger. I was mainly trolling at 1.2 to 1.4 mph. We pounded the face of Mill Bay and made a run over by the Monuement.

We caught Mackinaw on everything we fished which was a Purple Glow T4 Flatfish, A Cha Cha Squidder in glow green baited with a piece of Northern Pikeminnow and a couple of Kingfisher lite spoons in Green Double Splatterback Glow. We had a terrific day on the water and ended with really nice pile of fish.

It was great exchanging Ellensburg stories with Doug Barnes and Scotty Large.

Great report! Thanks for the info~ where do you pick up the pikeminnow? I am planning a trip over in the near future and got most of my lake trout gear at a place in Wenatchee but wanted to pick up some pikeminnow for bait too but not sure where to get it.
