It has been kooky over here. The Kokanee have been hot and cold. Fish for these guys with ultra-light tackle for a real treat. They are very acrobatic, achieving long line releases a good percentage of the time. We are using Mack's Double D Dodgers with a 16" leader back to a Mack's mini Cha Cha Squidder baited with yellow or natural Pautzke's Fire Corn. Trolling 50 to 80 feet deep is usually the ticket. Try speeds of 1 to 1.5 mph. Stacking rods 15 feet apart will also help you get more bites. Thanks to Jim, Jerry and Fred for fishing with me in the rain, sleet, snow and hail today. Even had the bluebird of happiness land on our last rod in the water for the end of a great day on the water.
