Beautiful weather but no fish. We tried mini squid, wedding rings & K-flies behind 00, 000 & 0000 dodgers. We tipped them with corn and or shrimp. We fished from 40 Ft. to 120 Ft. chasing marks on the finder. I ran one line for Lakers at all times while we had three out for Kokanee. For Lakers I ran Ace hi-fly & U-20. Had one hit on the Ace-Hi at 190 Ft. It didn't stick. We saw very few fish caught by others. 2 dozen other boats trying it. Jerrys grand kids took advantage of the good weather & enjoyed naps!

Let me guess, the dreaded high pressure zone moved into the area recently? At least the wind was down and made for a nice boat ride.

I fish when I can. So, regardless of the barometer I try. It definitely was a nice day out.

I thought it was low pressure that was bad... so confused...

@mike

from what i have found the day or two after high pressure moves in the fish just stop feeding. kokanee seem to be very receptive to weather changes. Low pressure moving in can turn the bite on most times

Transition days between high/low and reverse have seemed to be the best for me but i'm with afk on going when i can regardless.

Hey Andy, Sounds like a good outing even though the kokes didn't cooperate. Cindy and I need to get out there soon and try for a few. We've found the kokes to be typically on and off during the early part of the run, and this year sure is early.--compared to the last few years anyway. from what I'm hearing from some of the locals it's a day by day fishery right now, and as was mentioned above they can be hypersensitive to weather changes sometimes. But anytime on the water chasing a fish is well spent. Yake care and be safe

Hey Lewis, we did have a good outing. Todays weather has me in the garage cleaning and sorting tackle LOL. We'll be out again I'm sure.
