Really nice weather yesterday, went to the North coast for an early morning clam dig, limiting out in a half hour.We then went to our favorite year-round lake. We had only one strike while trolling, water temp. is still a little cool,(52 degrees), switched to bottom fishing, after anchoring 4 times with no bites(!!!) we finally found a bunch of fish using bottom finder and limited in an hour or so, with this hog weighing almost as much as the rest of the stringer, 4lbs., 10 ozs. after bleeding, that works out to 4lbs., ,14 1/2 ozs. after figuring in a 1 oz. loss per lb. Great fight on an ultra light lami, tried to wrap the anchor line two or three times, but made it to the stringer. These recent plants of this size go right in the smoker!Going out again today to try to put Melanie on one of these hard fighting brutes from the Satsop Springs hatchery Happy Easter to all. Bob R
