We decided to take my Dad's new fishing machine out on Mineral Lake.
We've had pretty good luck before on this Lake, but not this time. There
must have been 40+ boats on the lake, and we did not see a lot of fish being
caught. For the 3 anglers on board, we only had 3 fish to show for our
efforts. I've read of others catching big fish on this lake, but I've
never seen anything larger than 14 inches caught on this lake. I just think the fish
were not biting either because the water was too cold(52 degrees at the
surface) or maybe because of the rather full moon the night before.
