Hit Beaver Lake this morning with my buddy Geoff, used his Cadillac, I mean clackacraft. Very cold, snowed all over us, I had to go to the urologist this morning, so we pretty much had to bail as the weather was improving. I bet if people went out in the afternoon it would be lights out. We caught a half dozen, a few of them were the jumbos that they planted this week. What worked was trolling in tight to shore with anywhere from 1-3 split shot about 6 feet in front of a wedding ring tipped with crawler. We tried other stuff too, pop gear, sling blades, dick nite, chartreuse wedding ring with one nibble on the latter. Fun as heck out there. Might try to hit it again this weekend. Good luck all!
