Hey brothers. I am finally back into the groove after recieving eye injections to relieve Macular Edema swelling in both eyes that has caused temporary blindness that has greatly affected my ability to see well. I am happy to report that my vision is slowly returning to normal thank God. Wendsday was an awesome day on the water for crappie as I was field testing my new 1.5" Nudge Bug Crappie nymphs, 2" Crappie Midgets and my brand new Shaw's 3" Bass Taddy tadpole jig. I hit the bite at the peak of the lunar 'Prime Time's lunar bite" prediction with my close friend Jim Arvidson joining me for some torrid crappie action. Tight lining those tadpole jigs in natural green/pearl belly and the hot color was a watermelon/red Bass Taddy rigged on a 1/16th oz. Northland Lures black jighead with a yellow eye. It's been along, long time since I've seen fish this aggressive so early in the season. Jim and I fished from 2 p.m. to 5:30 and I estimate that we put between 100 to 120 crappie on the bank in the time period. Jim and I practiced catch and release but i took a slug of fish pictures of the jigs we were using. You can't purchase these one of a kind jig creations in any store, so please email me if your interested guys. Thanks again for your prayers and support during the time i was sick. Hope to see you 'all at the Rocky Mountain Sportsman show in Spokane later this month. I'll have a bunch of jigs with me to showcase and let you try them out in my portable fish tank with rod and reel. Tight lines, Jiggy.
