Headed out to the lake yesterday and braved the elements. Got to the lake around 8 and fished till 2 with a few buddies. We got there and there where white caps and 1-2 foot chop at the ramp. using the 50 lb thrust trolling motor we had to put it in 4-5 just to troll up wind to get the perfect action on the spoons. After about 30 mins we headed over the the west shorline and stolled against the wind and hooked up with the first one. nice 19" Bow. After 3 more passes we headed to the south shorline and set up some drift-trolling runs. The wind so strong that we were able to let the wing push us and it was maybe if anything just a tad faster than a normal trolling speed. We managed to pick up 3 more doing that. One in the middle of the south shorline and 2 more drifing the east shorline. Over all a nice, wet, windy, Whidbey day. Sorry for no pics this trip but very good quality fish, yet again and a 2 were in spawning colors. All fish were released
