I have been itching to get the 'Tin Cup' out on the water so when I drove my Lake WA today @2:30 was excited to see the water flat as glass around Coulon and the sun so raced home and quickly loaded up the gear and threw some sweats over my suit and headed to the boat launch!

Was in the water by 3:15 and started trolling off the Cedar mouth and then over towards the south tip on Mercer. Started off with a UV sling blade and red hootchie with spinner blade tipped with pink gulp maggots. Was marking fish in the 20 to 30' range in about 75 feet of water but no takers. Switched to a holograph pink/orange cool looking mini apex tipped with maggots also but again no one interested.

By 4:30 the cloud cover increased so switched to a glow mini Brad's cut plug loaded with Krill scent for the ride back to the boat launch. Was able to fire up the laptop on the passenger seat and still work from the boat so would call it a pretty good way to spend my Monday afternoon but would have been better to see my rod bouncing!

Went to take a picture of the Olympics in the background of my downrigger and realized I left my camera in my work car so no scenery pictures which is all I could have posted!! haha

See you on the water!

Thanks for the report. I was on the north end of Mercer with a buddy, trolling for cutts with the same results. The weather was awesome, the fish were not interested. Still a great day on the lake.
