My friend and I were on the lake by 7:00am. The weather was cool and overcast, but did not rain. He was trolling a rooster tail and I was using a triple teaser. We didn't have much luck on the boathouse side of the lake, but had several strikes and caught some fish on the other side. We got one rainbow and two german browns in the boat, threw back another brown, and lost a rainbow at the boat in front of the launch on our way back in. The rainbow was the largest at about 11 inches. We were off the lake by noon. My friend was a little disappointed since the fishing had been much better the weekend before when the temp was up around 90. Well, at least he says the fishing was better. I never did see any of the fish he claims he caught. We still had a good time.
