Started the morning off by getting to the launch at around 0900 and boat loaded up and launched by 0930. About 200' off shore we let the lines out trolling Dic-nites about 70' behind the boat in Gold and White / Green. Stayed between 30' - 100' from the shore line trolling toward Hwy 20. Water was glass calm with about 2-3' visibility, I dont have the water temp or depth since I do not have a depth finder yet. As we trolled the bank next to Hwy 20 -my rod with the gold Nite on when bendo 40' from shore. Hit like a monster but ended up being about a 7-8" Cutthroat, first one out of the lake for me. Continued trolling the shoreline until we got to the island and made a complete circle around it and then continued to where I thought "Cutthroat Channel" would be to no avail. We headed in around 1130 because the wife was getting cold. Over all it was a great way to spend the morning and cant wait to get back out there and try it again!
