My buddy Jordan and I fished Fish Lake from about 4:30-5:30pm. We were so late to the lake we just poached some open holes from a couple of guys who just left versus auger-ing our own. The fishing was very good! We were in the water for less than an hour and caught four trout and two perch. We missed many more-- we probably hooked up half the time. One of the trout was very nice (pic 1), and one of the perch was a jumbo (pic 2). We were using Swedish pimples tipped with two wax worms. The trout were released and the perch were kept. What an amazing day-- their were only about 10 others on the lake and the weather was perfect! We plan to head to Roses Lake tomorrow for the first time.
