Had my wife buy us a boat while I was in Afghanistan. I was a little concerned about what kind of shape it was going to be in when I got back, however, it ran great and I was able to do some bass fishing while on R&R. My wife's family has a cabin on Waitts so we were able to head out for the day. Used a 6" pumpkin senko for the one in the picture, and my wife had on a green senko I believe. Total of eight or nine fish in the boat, my wife actually caught a couple that were bigger than this one but I am not allowed to put those pictures up. She was 8 1/2 months pregnant at the time, I told her people are only interested in the fish but she was not hearing it. Ha, I was just impressed she was out there with me. Anyways, great day and looking forward to next summer. On a side note, looking for somwhere to get into the crappie. Years ago Eloika was great, but it seems to have tapered off in recent years, any inputs anyone has would be appreciated.
