Got out in the new boat and fished Lake Washington this morning. Was mostly looking for perch but only found a couple that would bite. After searching around for a little bit I set up in another spot off the east side of Mercer. Caught a couple more perch but ended up catching several cutts and a couple nice smallmouth. Awesome way to break in the new boat, especially for the end of December. I did troll for a while but had better results still fishing from anchor.

Nice going! Looks like the winter bass and perch fishing is just starting to heat up. Gotta get back on the lake again, it's been awhile!

Gosh Darn thats a big bass! Its nice to see guys picking them up. Hope I get hooked up on one tomarrow!

Howdy! I'm just getting back into fishing after a 15+ year sabbatical. Tried my luck today on the east side of Mercer. Saw a bunch of fish on the sonar in shallow water (10-15' bottom, suspended about halfway up I think) but no bites. Are those perch and bass I'm seeing? I was tossing a Kastmaster and a wedding ring... suspect I should have been using a jig instead? Any suggestions?

Wow the Bass are spawning early this year as you can see by the eye. Usually they don't' start the spawning process till 1st of March, for Lake Washington & Sammamish. Nice catch ether way..... Tight Lines
