Went to Myron and Rotary. Caught a brooder at Myron. Fun on 4lb test. Guy next to me caught an 8lb trout, and was he stoked! Fun to watch. He kept his.
Actually went to try out some new designs and colors on lures, never thought I'd catch anything. Went to Rotary for the walk, and caught 23 crappie on 2 brand new designs. All but 1 small, around 9", and one was 14", which is close to the biggest I've caught in that lake. All C&R. I have plenty of fish in the freezer. Just something extra about catching them on one's own handiwork.
People are still catching those brooders, and they are fun. Merry Christmas!

Made 'em my little ole self! and that's a good idea! If they get marketed, it'll probably be through Jiggy though. He's getting some good recognition.

guys. It's been a real blessing designing and marketing those lures with you Joe. 2013 promises to be a breakout year for Jigmiester Custom Lures with new concept lures and custom jig heads. I've documented over 2000 this year. And yes durnit, almost all were C&R!!!!
