Been wanting to get back to whatcom since we got our first smallmouth last time out. Started out fishing pilings and my girlfriend on her first cast picked up the biggest one we have gotten thus far. Do not have a scale but would guess right around 3 1/2 pounds. Picked up some perch and a couple real nice cutts. One went right around 16 inches and had some girth to it. Am going to try and get out one more time before it closes. I am not a bass guy so was just fishing a worm on a drop shop rig today.
