Went back for a two day fishing gig at Ike Kinswa. Day one = Bottom shore fishing, not a bite. fish jumping all around me. Day two = Morning bottom shore fishing not a bite, switched to a lure nothing. Went for a walk to think things out. Came back moved to a shallow part of the lake on the sandbar. Bottom fishing. Landed a 13" rainbow trout. (Line and or sinker got hung on to the bottom rocks for a bit. Worked it out of the wedge and landed the fish). My 4 year old son joined the fishing with his 14" fishing pole. I had seen fish surface jumping so I hooked him onto a bobber, egg hook and power egg using a few split shots. That boy caught two less than a minute after casting. He sure taught his old man how it is done!!

LOL Thanks Bob. Yeah I was hoping that he would catch something. This has further peeked his interest in fishing. I want this boy to be my lifetime fishing buddy.
