Met up with friend, Pete, and headed for Lake Washington (Seward Park) to do a little catfishin'. Arrived at lake at about 6:45PM. Had all the good stuff... worms, Power Bait for catfish, and Cabela's own catfish nuggets! Sun was down and getting dark by 7:15, and had first bite about 10 minutes later... reeled in a 10" Brown Bullhead, AKA Catfish. Bite lasted about an hour... Pete caught the biggest, a 11"er and I caught another at 10". All three fish and about 6 or 7 bites were on worms. By 8:30 the bite was off and we didn't get another bite the rest of the evening. Fishing in the dark can be a real challenge, but is a lot of fun as well. Think that catfishin' is about done for the Fall, as the water continues to cool off. Water temp was 64 degrees at the shoreline. PTL!
