Fished ol' Tanwax today with my wife. Looking for some panfish for dinner and found a bunch crappies, perch, blugills and perch.Only kep a half dozen perch. Found the fish in water depths of 10-16 feet. Micro jigs tipped with maggots did the trick. Good to get some of the old mojo back catching panfish and realizing fishing with the wifey is the best. Did notice the perch had spawn in em. And when I filleted them most of the perch meat was white and solid but a couple were kinda pink (not from the blood) Stuck em in some salt water and see what happen.s See ya on the water!
