9/9/2012 4:12:00 PMLou, do you think their fins shake when I pull into the driveway? :-)
I wanted to go to American and capture an even bigger kokanee but the weather report said winds to 13mph. My area wind was only suppose to get to 9mph so I thought I would go to Clear Lake. I was the first in the lot and to launch. It took a few minutes to find fish. I stayed close to the launch in 55 feet of water. I lost 5 before I got the first one in the boat. I had my limit in 40 minutes. I, as Kokanee Granny, circled those fish until they gave up and jumped in the boat! No, just kidding. I lowered the down riggers until they were 30-35 feet. I was using the rig that has worked so good for me. Dick Nite Pink Splatter dodgers with Wannafish A Lure Pink Splatter Squiddy Thing. It was cloudy with a breeze but I don’t think it was 9 mph. These fish like corn, garlic, liquorice, and maggots, as well as the deadly Dick Nite and Wannafish A Lure combo. I was at the lake from 7-8am. Came home and made my family blueberry pancakes for breakfast, then cleaned the fish.
We are in a battle! Angler against fish! We need an arsenal of weapons and at my site you will find some of those different weapons. For all those who wannafish a lure come in and take a look at WannafishALuren.com.
