We thought we would just take the family out for a quick spin, but couldn't help but put a pole in the water. We hardly got our lines in the water, and had our first fish on. Got 5 real nice fish in the boat within a couple of hours, all about 15 inches. We were using popgear with a red wedding ring baited with worm, a red and white power egg. We were fishing by the dam at 30 feet deep.

Are these fish rainbow trout or landlocked coho salmon? As far as I lknow the fish being caught by the dam are salmon, not trout.Bob R

Yes they were coho salmon, my mistake
