Took the neighbor girls, Courtney and Morgan, out for a perching expedition. if you are teaching kids how to fish there is nothing better than doing it on perch. all you have to do is find the honey hole and you can't help but haul in a whole mess of em. and that is exactly what we did using nothing more than worms all the way to the bottom. the hot spot was just off Morgan point in about 30-35 feet of water. caught about 50 perch in a matter of and hour or so.

There was so much excitement when we got back home that I had to take another trip the next day for the other neighbor girl. Nicole caught 39 perch in no time and could have caught double that but hauling in all those monsters wore her arm out!

nothin better than kids having fun and catching fish.
