For my neighbor's daughter's birthday what she wanted was a fishing trip with one of her friends. This really wasn't a fishing trip, more like a catching trip as it generally is on lake Goodwin for perch! We arrived early to beat the water ski/jet ski crowd but we had so many fish a great time was had by all. Even hooked a few blue gill. It doesn't take long to get a couple hundred perch on this lake and the kids have a fantastic time which is most important. But cleaning all those fish is a different story! But on the other hand, there is no finer table fare than fresh perch.
