Water temps were 71-74 degrees. Nice breeze in the morning. Mostly fishermen out this morning and a couple of skiers. Had a hot follow within my first 5 casts. Had a good follow by bout a 40 inch fish. Followed several times. Just couldnt get her to eat. Hit the south end of the lake nd put the same 41.5 inch i put in the (Frabill knotless coated Big Game that I paid $80 for and bought without asking for a hand out) net with my wife on the 5th..Esox from sota' picked up on the 9th, I picked up again today. Same single fin on its back and the little grouping behind it. Couldnt get a pic to prove it. It was hot, I tried to get a pic think the heat got to me. Trust me..lol then put a little 30 incher up to the boat for the quick release. Again water temps are close to "don't fish muskies" temp. So get out there early catch your muskies and get them released quick..See ya on the water

Well, muskyhunter, if anything smallies are a good alternative. Real feeding frenzies going on on Tapps. Almost everything caught is coughing up at least one, if not more crappie fry while fighting. Very active right now.

I have huge hands, I use to grab tigermusky! Nets do to much damage to the sterile fish like the tigermusky! Even the Obama net! LOL
