Fished gissberg today from about 2:00pm to 6pm. fished the
south lake first and not a single bite. then at about 4pm we
took our little dinghy to the north lake. but before that we
we fished the north lake from shore and my dad caught a nice
little 10 or 11 inch bass. so we got in our boat and while
fishing with no bites looked on in awe of the beauty of the
lake right before sunset. while listening to the soothing
sounds of the freeway. but they are nice at dusk. just started
fly fishing so I am kinda bad at it. rite before we left we
were in our boat and I caught my first fish with fly fishing
on a #12 olive wooly bugger.it was a nice 6 inch bluegill.then
I caught a little 4 or 5 inch bass on the same fly. released all
our fish. so pretty good fishing for our first time to the ponds.
we mite come back next weekend. as for tomorrow we are headed
to the weyerhauser tree farm for some native trout. and try
some more fly fishing. have a great time fishing. and remember
any fish is a good fish.
