Arrived at 9:30 am to see the launch blocked by a trout lodge truck. Seems a couple of the local fishing clubs paid to stock the lake w/ some triploids. Pretty cool to watch them flow out of the truck. I caught and released many 8-10 inchers that the state had stocked a week earlier. I also caught and released a 6 pound triploid. Had to request help from another boater w/ a net! I was fishing w/ 2 pound tippet. Thanks to the fishing clubs for their effort. I can't wait to bring my nephews. They are the ones the big fish were stocked for.
