Dropped "So's Your Face" into the lake just before 7am. Glass lookin water as I head out, trolled around using a couple different lures to no avail. Went up around the bend and switched over to weightless powerbaiting to see if I could trick anything into biting while drifting around in the slight breeze, still nothing. Eventually I feel asleep in the middle of the lake to the gentle rocking of the boat, still nothing. Pretty slow day all in all, I took a peek over on my way out and saw a lot of worms getting tossed out and a lot of little sculpin getting reeled in. I would say its time to pickup a downrigger and fishfinder, but salmon season opens up tomorrow so i think its just time to get a little shuteye and prepare for the drive down to the puyallup. Hopefully the fish are just taking their time and getting a bit bigger.
