Great day for fishing as every other day is at this lake. No new reports in a while so I thought I would add one. I've been in search of my first bass at this lake and have only seen 2 and maybe a school of baby bass. It seems all the shallow areas are infested with huge carp so I don't know if that has anything to do with me not catching any bass (probably not, I'm just bad at bass fishing). But the trout fishing is incredible, just tossing a small spoon near the shore has produced at least 5 trout every time I go. Even managed to catch a trout on a jig and a plastic worm... Best of luck to anyone who goes here, its a great trout fishery, starting to doubt if it has many bass though.

I have caught some decent LMB there several years ago, two years ago from the boat launch area.

Interesting, if you don't mind me asking, what were you using to catch them with?

How were the weeds? Able to troll still there?

The weeds are still there, there some spots along the shore that are actually pretty barren of weeds, if there are they aren't many and they are very low on the bottom. The water is very clear so its easy to see where the weeds are and were they aren't. So if you troll shallow and stay close to the side of the lake opposite of the boat ramp you should be good. Maybe catch some weeds here and there.
