3Rd time going here. Like all the other times not even a bite. I fished bottom with worm and my so here bobber with work. Not even a bite. Laugh out loud I don't think I've ever gotten a bite there yet. Not eat any hits from the cat fish on bottom.

are you using power bait? If so how long is your leader? the bottom has tall grass so if your leader isn't very long it will hide in the grass, four feet or longer works. The south side drops deep quicker then the north side due to thats how the dozers took the gravel deposits out and formed the lakes, so if you fish from the south side make the leader longer. Hope that tip helps. Oh if you are using power bait try spring green.
After typing all that I read your comments and saw you use worms on the bottom. do you fill them with air to float off the bottom? If so try the longer leader trick as well.

Thanks for the tips I will have to try a longer leader. How was fishing with worms because usually any fish will eat worms. And my kids just want to catch fish . I haven't had any luck. Even with a bobber and worm. Every time I talk to people on the lake they were trying powerbait with no success so I didn't even try it. I'll haft to try it see How it goes next time I go
