Took my boys out fly fishing for the first time. Went out on a nice cool cloudy day and pulled some black buggers around the lake. What an amazing day. They both had 5- 12"+ 'bows on board in less than 2 hours!! They each had 1 on board in the 1st 15 minutes. Talk about making memories! They had a few shake loose for long releases but we had something going on every few minutes the whole day. We had hit Lake Desire a few times earlier this summer and limited out, but Spring Lake was a much more enjoyable experience. There is a lot less activity on the shore, than there is on Desire. Plus no jealous dock heads all drunked up and cussing at the boaters.
