After a week and a half of blazing heat which allowed me to catch up on the honey do list it was time to do some bassin! My older son had a few days off so I took him up to Loon after work to hopefully get into some good sized bass of which he hasn't had the opportunity to do in quite some time. Launched around 5:30 and took him accross to the north east reeds where he nailed a nice 3 1/2 lber. We then went over to the east side docks and he was able to pull out this nice 4 1/2 lber! Got the skunk off my back with a 3lber in the lillies right at sunset. Gave it 5 stars because we don't get to fish with each other a whole lot with his busy schedule, sure was nice to see him land some quality fish! Any evening out in the boat with one of my boys is 5 stars for me!

Forgot to tell folks what we used: Zoom pumpkin seed trick worm no weight, Zoom scuppernog 8" lizard no weight. Missed several fish on the black and blue jig n craw and pumpkin seed orange jig n craw. I've been dinking around with a rainbow trout jerky j on a drop shot in 15-18 ft of water along the weedline, but no takers yet...

Nice work buddy, looks like your whole family slays the Bass @Loon. I've been thinking of trying Loon some night this weekend. My Uncle has his boat in the water there so all i gotta do is show up & fish. Also, the dock in your last pic is the same one I was fishing from when I caught the Bass in my last Loon report...*** You should be the new Zoom Bait poster child, forget G-Man Swindle! If they do sponsor you, don't forget to hook me up with some free baits!! LOL

Ice cream man is that you? Man Tim, you should've stopped by this weekend, we sure could'a used some ice cream, we we're digging up and moving part of my sprinkler system, and man was it hot! I didn't even get a change to throw a line in this weekend!

Man Bill you've got some pretty good eyesight, if you look at the tail of the fish it has a chunck taken out by a prop, probably one of the one's that we're fleeing the boats from your post!
