Had a pretty good day today! I originally was targeting trout, but on my first cast I hooked a 5 1/2 pound Mirror Carp on Corn flavored powerbait. My leader was about 12", very short. Later on at about 9:00 i caught a small Rainbow Trout, on a Thill Mini-Bobber with size 0 split shot ,a size 10 hook, and worms. I caught the carp at 7:45. I saw a kid catch a really fat 1/4 pound Pumpkinseed. Also a guy at the south dock,(the dock on the left at Hill Park) caught his limit of three(one was at least 16"). Go to the south dock if you fish for Trout, almost everyone got some action! I only caught one at the north dock.
