My girlfriends grandson wanted to go fishing with us so we hit up Spring Lake. We haven't been here for a month and haven't had much luck on other lakes when it's sunny and warm so I was worried the same would happen at this lake but soon after we got on the lake and started trolling Anthony started getting bites. He was able to get every other fish in the boat. It took us 3 hours to get 9, then close to another hour to get the last one.

Nice return for time spent. What is the shore access like on that lake?

I've been to Spring quite a bit, haven't been out there this year yet though. Baring any major changes by WDFW and the winter weather, there is room for three or four people comfortably, but there isn't a dock, it's just the boat launch area. So, anytime someone is going out on the water or coming in, you would likely have to pull everything in, unless you are far off to the side. I have seen a decent number of fish caught from the shore there that were decent size, but it is really better to use a boat for this lake (trolling or stationary).

Very happy to see fish getting caught there though - last year seemed strangely slow.
