Been fishing Sammamish with regularity this season on my kayak. Smallmouth fishing has finally really started to improve since mid June. Caught a handful of small mouth bass in the 1.5-2lb range, all about 15"-18". Caught my first largemouth of the season by surprise by popping a drop shot under a dock. 4lbs! Fish seem to be holding really shallow overall. Tight lines and good luck everybody.

Been thinking about doing my kayak there too. Is there a public place to put in besides the Sammamish State Park? Anywhere on Lake West Sammamish Pkwy?

Idylwood Park in Redmond is a great place to launch, its off West Lake Sammamish, before you hit marymoore.
