The surface temp. at 6:30 was 63.4, cool, cloudy, kind of windy, the perfect spinnerbait day. fishing was kind of slow, only had 3 bites for the 5 hours I was out there, boated 2 of the 3. The fish, and the weather are way behind schedule. I did not see any active nests, or any fry, only dead nests. I was off the water at 11:30. You should have seen the one that got away, it was a monster.
