Please understand that was a typo. We only caught ONE 16 incher each!! Not 6!!

Awesome catch that has to be rare in that small lake but it's not fished very much. Have you seen the small clear blue pond on the south side of hwy 12 just before you get to Dog Lake? this small pond has a creek flowing in & out. It is crystal clear aqua tint. the fish in it run in the 14 -19 inch size. I was a guide for Blue Sky Outfitter a rafting company when I would go to the Tieton River in late August to July I would fly fish this little pond. Because the pond was so clear you have to sneak down the flowing in creek if you approach the pond from roadside the fish will spook and will not bite. The pond is on is on all road maps including Metzger map systems it located just before the White Pass Summit.
